This song really helped me to take song writing seriously and gave me the push I needed to write more songs. Not any songs, but Christian songs.

I wrote this one with my cousin one day during our visit, and as we were sitting at the table, inspiration hit us and we began writing a song. She wrote out lyrics and I played a melody on my ukulele, shortly after we had a song put together! We wrote this song to uplift people as well as to express that Jesus is the creator of all things and that he loves us!

We hope this song is as encouraging to you as it is to us.

This song has a few meanings for me. When I first wrote, “Don’t Worry Darling”, I was in my senior year of high school getting ready to apply for colleges and not knowing whether I wanted to go to a community college or to a university, and not any university but a Christian one.

So I sat and thought about it for a while (while still applying for other colleges) then the words for this song Don’t Worry Darling popped in my head, specifically the lyrics, “Don’t Worry Darling I have plans for you….Don’t Worry Darling you will make it through”. So that gave me the push I needed to sign up for a Christian university and by the grace of God I got in! After I wrote the song and started singing it more and more this song stuck out to me again when my mom was in the hospital, God was telling me not to worry about the situation and that it’ll be okay, everything will work out, and it indeed worked out.

So this song is a song of hope for when you are struggling with anything to not worry because God has everything in control and he has a plan for you.

I wrote this song during a church service one night. We were reading the bible and Philippians 4:13 came up so I read it and the melody for the song came to my mind. So I jotted down the scripture (even though it's written on my ring, as said in the lyrics). After church I got my guitar and started playing a few chord progressions and then the song started to form. I enjoy this song due to its upbeat nature and can also help to remember the bible verse!

This song is to remind people that through Christ all things are possible and you can do all things through him!
